Love Truly and Fully
Random people were asked, “In your opinion, what is love?” Various answers came about. Some instantly gave examples of how love is while some others blurted out dictionary definitions of that thing called “love”. Who knows what love really is? What is it exactly?
No one can really define love. It is different for each and every person. In love, there is no right or wrong answer. Each person has his or her own perception of love.
This brings me to my purpose in writing this short entry. Since love is different for everyone, it means that when we fall in love with someone, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the way we love them will be exactly the same way they love us. This may mean that the way they express their love may be different from our belief as well.
We have to stay open for other people’s perception of love, especially our partner. Sometimes, our partner may not meet our expectations of how we want them to love us. But did you ever come to think that maybe we also haven’t met their expectations?
So what do we do? Do we change the way we love our partner? Or do we let our partner know how we want to be loved?
The answer to this question is very simple. Love your partner with all that you are. Maybe people have different perspectives on how to love but loving your partner with all your heart will always be the same for everyone. Love Truly and Fully.
