Beyond Borders of Interracial Relationships

Interracial relationships and marriages have been big issues for a lot of cultures until now. Most traditional elders believe that one race should be together with or marry a partner of the same race.

This has been a big obstacle for some couples who happen to be born in different countries; of different races. The problem usually comes either from parents or the people around the couple.

People may see this “new development” as something that is offensive to one’s culture. This is because they are not exposed to these kinds of things. This is because they fall short of being able to cope with the present. This is also a sign that they fail to realize the true invitation of love.

Love invites each and every one of us to set our physical differences aside. Love entices us to look beyond the color of one’s skin, one’s race, or one’s cultural differences. Love asks us to take look for something deeper. Love asks us to see one’s true beauty beyond the boundaries of one’s race or culture. What is important is a couple’s compatibility and the love they share with each other.

No matter what skin color you have; no matter what culture you grew up in; In love, it doesn’t matter.
