True Love Doesn’t Make Sense

Love, for some, is something people want to be able to control. It is something they can choose to have or not have at a point in time. It is something that they want to have a remote control for so that they could turn it on or off.
Unfortunately or maybe, fortunately? Love doesn’t work this way. Yes, love may hurt at times. Sometimes, extreme pain and hardship is an understatement when it is used to describe a situation in love. We may come to that point in time where we just want to let go. We just want to end the pain and move on with our life. But is that really how love is supposed to be? Is love only supposed to bring us only happiness? How will we appreciate love if all we get from it is purely happiness and no variety of feelings? One of the most important questions is, are you going to give up?
Love isn’t something we could fully understand through words. Love is so diverse that one single phrase to explain love would be way too insufficient. It is something that words would only give one-millionth of the meaning. So how do we understand love? How do we know what is love? We have to experience it. Love is an experience. It is something that could never be boxed into one definition. More so, Love will never make sense. Love will always get us confused or put us in front of an obstacle. But the bottom line is once we choose to truly love, turning back would be unimaginable. We will keep feeling love no matter how much we try to deny it. Love for a special person will always remain in our hearts.
Maybe true love doesn’t make sense. But this word that gets us dazed and confused gives meaning to things in our lives more than any other feeling or experience we may come to face.
