Call Me On The Telephone

Why does dating have to be such a game of who calls who and when to call? There’s that power that both sexes want. If he calls then he wants her and she wants to feel wanted. If she calls then she wants him and he wants to feel wanted. Either way it will be told to their friends on hey, guess who called me?  The other day someone was asking for my advice if she should call the guy she’s dating since he never called but he does text her.

Gone are the days when the internet did not exist nor the cellphone and everything has become communicated without using our telephone etiquette or manners of returning calls. From a woman’s perspective a phonecall from the man she is dating after their last date is a thoughtful gesture. If your date went well, the man should call after a few days to say he had a good time and vice versa for the woman. You can be sure that phonecall will be told to her friends and it looks like a considerate gesture.

If you had mentioned you were going to call after your last date then keep your word and call. If you don’t call and leave things hanging your date will have made other plans without you. Simple as that. Women don’t want to be left waiting and neither do men.
