Does Gay Marriage Really Exist?

Same sex or gay marriage has been the topic of intense debate. To help separate Biblical fact from fallacy about the institution of marriage, a special seminar entitled “The Truth about Gay Marriage” will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Drury Inn, 2265 E. Ron Mosby, an elder at the Family of God of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH

The program will be moderated by Kevin Aldridge, an elder at Kingdom Vision Ministries in Middletown, OH. Participants will have the opportunity to have their questions answered, and dialogue with panelists in an open, respectful environment. “God is pro-love, and He ordained an institution that allows a man and a woman to express and consummate that love,” said Steven McGee, Pastor of Greater Faith Baptist Church.

New Hampshire recently became the sixth state to legalize gay marriage. How does this type of legalization affect an institution that is thousands of years old? “The objective of the seminar is not to disparage two people who choose to live together; rather, it is to accurately distinguish between such a living arrangement and true marriage,” said Ron Mosby, elder at the Family of God of Cincinnati. The seminar will be recorded, and copies of the seminar will be available for purchase approximately two weeks after the event.
