Brides Get Crafty with Handmade Wedding Details

Fueled by the ongoing recession and the resurgence of vintage fashions and handmade crafts, a wide majority of brides have turned to hand-making many items and décor for their weddings, this according to a survey by My Wedding Workbook, a provider of free wedding software tools to more than 13,000 brides.

Today’s brides are implementing do-it-yourself items into all facets of their weddings. However, invitations are the most popular hand-made item, with 67.1% of brides saying they intend to make the invitations themselves.
