Can a Past Love be Rekindled?

At some point of our life, there would be a special person that would come in mind. This would of course be legal or illegal (with reference to the two-timers and flings), a past love which one cannot help but wonder – “What might have been?”

People are known to make rash decisions. This includes falling so hard that when push comes to shove, the sanity of a responsible life practically takes a back seat. And after reaching that maturity and responsible stage, looking at the past seems to be a fantasy which some may have to face once again in the future.

The difference of course being that at your middle age prime, many would normally be already married or hitched. You have an obligation and a partnership which in most likeliness would be something you would not give up in exchange for the love you lost when you were still single and a yuppie.

Communications can be left open though. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you don’t get involved intimately. Either that or you are inviting trouble to a presumed stable life already.

Now if fate does permit, you can wait a bit more until the elderly ages. Of course, this would mean giving up a lot of things that include sex but if it is love and companionship you are looking for, togetherness is all that is important.

At that stage in life, it will most likely boil down to winding up years together, if that is still possible.

At least you can look at it this way. You met in your early ages and get your chance to end your lives together in the older ages. Make sense?
