Popping the big question is one thing but wedding planning is another. Outside the need to consider the various issues involved such as financial capacity to plan the perfect wedding, you just have to face reality and prepare a wedding based on what you can afford.

Some people just have this belief that weddings are only done once in a lifetime (at least that was before divorce and annulment were introduced to society) and investing big will be worth every penny. Sorry to say not today.
