A Petal That Keeps You Away from a Group

CornerMost of us have our own run-ins as far as falling in love with someone in a group. Unfortunately, if things do not go well, there will be some sort of sour-graping or bitterness on your end, a development that cannot really be avoided. You try to remain as friends but overall, rejection is simply something more like a bitter pill to swallow.

So what does a person do? Continue to join a group and act as if nothing happened? I envy people who are like this. For true people, emotional warfare is something pretty hard to handle and no matter how hard you try, you cannot help but avoid that person especially if you are both in one group for some time.

On a man’s point of view, you would be looking at the best option. The normal way is to try to limit or perhaps avoid going to social functions and parties, thinking less of what others may think. You can make up all the excuses in the world but only your closest friends can understand your real reason.

You are not a villain for avoiding joining a group. We are all mature people and we all make our choices. If you feel it is not worth the time to be present then by all means do something else or perhaps stay at home and do something where it will be more worth your while.

You don’t have to disclose anything at all. Love hurts if it is only felt by one. Love cannot be forced on anyone. These are reason as to perhaps why some people would rather be alone than risk living with a broken heart.
