Happiness: The Greatest and Incomparable Reward of Love

Taken from Parc Cruz' Photo Stream

Tradition has taken its toll on relationships nowadays. Parents have a way of getting too involved. These are customs that say for example, Chinese can only marry Chinese. Others have said that rich have to tie the knot with rich people as well.

In love and relationships, should this be the case? Love is not something we always choose to happen. Sometimes we end up falling in love with the most unlikely person. Should we allow customs to stop us from doing so? From truly falling in love? Should we let these things keep us away from our beloved? The answer is NO. No, we shouldn’t. When we are so sure about a person, we have to be willing to take risks. We have to fight for the one we love.

These occurrences may lead us into various obstacles. We may have to fight against the odds especially when we’re not favored by the parents of our partner. We may have to take a few steps back and wait for the right moment. We may have to keep distance from our special someone and wait for the blessing of the parents. These are many obstacles that most of us may have to go through.

Most people end up asking themselves, “Is it going to be worth it?” My friends, the answer is YES. Falling in love, being in love, being loved is the greatest feeling man could ever have. The genuine feelings and care received and given to someone is something irreplaceable.

We experience the ups and downs of love when we are in a relationship. There will be times when we may feel morose but the happiness we will have? That’s priceless. Nothing could compare.

True love is worth any and all risks.
