A relationship is more than just a one-on-one kind of thing. There should be other people who are part of a relationship as well. These people are the reliable friends of the couple.

Every couple is faced with problems. They will have their share of misunderstandings, disagreements and arguments. Can a couple solve it on their own every time this happens? This is unlikely so. They will need those reliable friends who they can talk to and give them advice.

Having a bestfriend is healthy for everyone in a relationship. Of course, it would be preferred if your bestfriend is of the same gender. Having a bestfriend helps a lot. This person will always be there to listen to you when you have problems. He (or she) will always be there to give advice and insight on anything you are going through; be it good or bad.

Have a shoulder to lean on. It helps more than you could imagine.
