The More You Know, the More You Can Love

“I love you because…. of how you are able to make me smile, of how you are able to make a bad day worth going through, of how you are able to make me feel like a princess, of how you are able to listen to my endless stories….”

The more things you know about a person or the more things you know the person is capable of doing means that there are more things about that person you can love. Everyday, we get to learn something new about our partner. It may be just the slightest detail.

Each person is a complex individual. There is no way of knowing how long it is for us to get to know our partner. But one thing is for sure, everyday, we will have a reason to utter to ourselves how much we love our partner. Everyday, as time passes, there will be more reasons for us to say and mean the words “I love you” because everyday is a new day for us to further strengthen the flame of our love for our partner.

Sometimes, relationships tend to get dull and lifeless because we have stopped learning something new about our partner. I’m sure that no one really wants to stay at the same state as the first day the couple got together. There is always supposed to be a development as individuals and as partners. This can only happen if we do our own part in getting to know our partner better.

“I love you because everyday I learn something new about you. And everyday, I have more and more reason for loving you.” Wouldn’t it be nice to say or hear these words to or from our partner?
